Traveler
Into the distance I shall walk
Alone if it shall be
That no one else shall walk and talk
Along this path with me.
If it should be the clouds shall see
Me walk along my way
Grant me just a moment please?
Do not rain today.
But sorrow has its time to keep
And when the rain shall come
After clouds of sorrow weep
Let there be the sun.
With granted breaths I have to take
So shall I take them for my sake...
I'll walk away
I'll drift away
Into the silence of the day.
Since every step is not sublime
So shall I rest my feet in time,
But not to stop and let it be
That life has got the best of me.
Perhaps I must go on in gloom
To travel on beneath the moon
But travel on, still I must.
I have faith, and that I trust.
So go ahead and dim the light.
Dim the light that's shining bright.
I'll walk away.
I'll drift away
Into the silence of the night.
