Artist, If You Draw Me

Draw me by the crystal river
Where jewels of peace may flow
Where flowers of hope will not wither
Where seeds of love will grow.

Draw me dancing on a cloud
When the sun's glow is new,
When morning wakes so pure, so proud
Make that wish come true.

Draw me in my childhood dreams
When innocent was the world.
A field of flowers was how it seemed.
Draw that little girl.

Draw me on a rainbow, please
And let me touch the sky.
Take me there on a breeze.
Draw me soaring high.

Draw me by the waterfall
In the peaceful place of time.
The chirping birds, yes, draw them all.
Let them sing their songs sublime.

Draw me where I find my bliss;
Where I long to be.
Draw me where my soul does miss
The sparkles of the sea.

Draw me in my memories
Of those golden days of light.
Draw me on my bended knees
To pray innocent prayers at night.

Oh, artist if you draw me
Draw me when sorrow has ceased.
Draw me when my wings are free
To fly in times of peace.
